Following a successful mobile PC launch in the UK two months ago, Toshiba is now set to release two Qosmio mobile workstations.

First in line is the new Qosmio Dynabook GX. It is an 18.4-inch machine that wields the new NVidia GeForce 9600M GT graphic engine. It is powered by a Core 2 duo P8400 processor that runs with the 2.26GHz speed ad the SpurEngine processor. One look at the raw specifications and you’ll know that the Qosmio Dynabook GX is the gamer’s machine.

Qosmio Dynabook GX boasts 2Gb of RAM that is upgradable to 4GB. It has a default storage capacity of 250GB HDD. It has three USB 2.0 ports, an eSAT port and a multi-card reader. It is ready for the wireless war with a Wi-Fi b/g/n, HDMI Output and built-in 1.3 megapixel camera.

The second Qosmio wonder is the Qosmio F40/86G. This mobile workstation sports a Core 2 Duo T8100 running at 2.1GHz processor speed.

It has a clear LCD display of 15.4 inches. The screen resolution is adjustable to 1280 x 800. It comes with a standard RAM of 2GB that is upgradable to 4GB and storage of 250GB HDD. The Qosmio F40/86G also comes with a built-in TV tuner for television addicts.

Toshiba is yet to announce the price of new Qosmio laptops.
