Nikon opened cage and unleashed not one, but eight new Coolpix cameras.

First is the Coolpix S230 and S220, both of which has 10 MP lens and a touchscreen interface. It has a system allows you to “write and draw your photos.” It also has blink detection feature and is tagged at $229 and $149 respectively.

Next on the list is the Coolpix S630. It is 12 megapixel and has 7x optical zoom capability. 11 fps burst mode for clear pictures and a clear 2.7 –inch LCD display. You can get it for $279.

Next is the coolpix S620. It has 12.2 MP shooter with 4x zoom capability. It has 0.7-second startup time, subject tracking, four-way VR image stabilization, blink / motion detection. You can have this for $269.

Another one is the P90 camera. It has 12.1 MP lens and VR image stabilization. Price is $339 and it will be available in March.

Coolpix L100 is a 10 megapixel camera with 15 x 24-420 zoom feature. It is tagged at $279 and also available in March.

The L2 camera has 10-MP lens and 3.6 x zoom. Also the same is the L19 with slightly lower lens, 8 megapixels. These are available for $129 and $109 respectively.
