Nothing too brilliant in the concept but the new iPod Nano waterproof speaker case by Focal has a few characteristics that will give make you consider it an alternative gift for your iPod lover friends.

Reviews relate this waterproof speaker to the product of Atlantic, but this product has its own identity. Dubbed as the AquaTune nano 4G, this battery powered speaker packs a pair of 1-watt speakers that can survive deep diving. It is not really that Focal tells you to do some music clubbing while underwater, but at least, this product can keep your iPod safe even if summer is really far from now.

The second speaker set, called AquaTune v2 can work on a wider range of iPods. It has 3-watt x 2 power speakers.

The AquaTune v1 is tagged at $119 while AquaTune v2 is priced at $174.
