MSI’s wind laptop is awarded as the Gadget of the Year by the website Pocket-lint.co.uk. Pocket-lint.co.uk is one of the leading tech and gadget websites in the UK, and they are among the very few entities that recognized that there are more popular gadgets other than the much-hyped iPhone 3G.

Sony’s game called LittleBigPlanet defeated Grand Theft Auto 4 for the Game of the year title. RIM’s BlackBerry Storm on the other hand won the Mobile of the Year award.
The award giving “body” is spearheaded by a panel of respected journalist, tech enthusiasts including Daily Mirror’s Kevin Lynch.
