Tightening belts is the last thing on Mobiado’s mind. Their recent foray into manufacturing out exclusive phones for the rich and famous brought out the Professional 105GMT Gold Luxury Handset.

The name is enough to tell you that this new mobile phone is not for the faint hearted – translated in layman’s terms, not for the poor. Although the mobile phone’s price remains unannounced as of this writing, it is safe to say that only the who’s who can lay their hands on this phone.

Mobiado boasts that 105GMT is “the expression of mechanical perfection, mastering of aesthetic details, and the integrity of consistent craftsmanship.” There is no debating into that except for the fact that its name may not really be precise to describe the unit.

Professional 105GMT is made from combined large pieces of sapphire crystal, ebony wood and CNC machine frame – from keypad to the body. It has a 24-carat gold finish.
Apart from being a mobile phone, the unit also has characteristics of a mechanical watch. Its Swiss made wtch have 25 jeweled bearings and are also gold-painted.
