Lenovo Group makes high-end gaming and hardcore computing possible even if you are mobile. This is practically what the ThinkPad W700, Lenovo’s newest mobile workstation promises to do.

ThinkPad W700 sports a 17-inch clear crystal display. It is powered by Nvidia’s Quadri FX mobile graphics card. Its processor is the celebrated Core 2 Extreme Quad Core of Intel. The inside can support two hard drives and it can allow up to 8GB of RAM.

The new laptop targets high-end users such as hardcore gamers, programmers, advanced web designers, multimedia professionals and others. According to Dan Olds, an analyst at Gabriel Consulting Group, the mobile workstation has a configuration that tops even some of advanced desktop PCs.

ThinkPad W700 is the first system to sport an optional built-in palm rest digitizer and color calibrator. The built-in digitizer aids computer users to automatically configure an image. The color calibrator on the other hand works on adjusting the color display of the computer.

The laptop also boasts Bluetooth and ultrawideband technology combo.

This super laptop will be available in September for the minimum price of $2,978.
