Depending on the type of email you use, there are various ways to recover missing email messages or those that were inadvertently deleted. There are available data recovery software and email recovery utilities that you can use to recover deleted email. It is only a matter of downloading or installing and learning how to run them.

If legitimate or wanted emails do not end up in your Inbox, chances are, they are in the Spam folder. If this is the case, you can recover missing email messages by simply going to the Spam folder, click all the misplaced emails and transfer them to your Inbox. To avoid this in the future, make sure to include the sender/s to your list of trusted senders of in your address book. You can also adjust your firewall settings to increase chances of these legitimate and wanted emails to get through.

Auto-archive settings can also be checked to make sure that it is not too often that your computer stashes those still useful emails away.
