If Panda Anti-virus didn’t appear to be wild enough against viruses, then maybe another animal would. Introducing the Kitty Antivirus Software!

Actually it is called the Hello Kitty Anti Virus and Firewall, and yes, it is named after the world’s most famous Asian cat – Hello Kitty.

If you think that Hello Kitty mania won’t reach the software industry, then think again. Clearly, this is a marketing strategy. We don’t know yet what else Sanrio’s got up their sleeves but clearly, this is only the beginning.

Hello Kitty has already provided us with some noteworthy technological products. Just to name a few, we have computers and PC peripherals, USB memory sticks, a social networking site and phone chargers.

The product box still carries Hello Kitty’s teen and pre-teen appeal. The product developers clearly describe that Hello Kitty will nurse your computer back into full health through its anti-virus program.

As for now, it is only available in Chinese, but we can easily assume (pray?) that an English/International version will come out soon.
