Mac users will now have a taste of what it really means to be connected.
Boingo Wireless, one of the largest Wi-Fi hotspot makers in the world has just released a Mac-compatible version of its GoBoingo! client. Because of this, Mac users running under Tiger or Leopard operating systems will now be able to connect to more than 100,000 Boingo partnered Wi-Fi spots easily.
Boingo currently powers a lot of popular bookstores, airports, hotels, retail stores, coffee shops and restaurants. The company provides different subscription options that gives unlimited Wi-Fi access to all Boingo hotspots in North America and other places in the world.
Thru the service, users will automatically be able connect to Boingo hospots. You will not need to enter usernames or passwords every time you want to connect. You can also connect to Boingo’s partner hotspots if you use GoBoingo. This means that your credit from a different access can be used in other places. There is no need to re-register, or re-pay for a separate Wi-fi pass.
GoBingo client is lightweight, easy to use and it runs silently. Users only need to download and install a 1 MB file.
