Fujitsu made some awesome upgrades to its LOOX R Ultraportable laptop.

We’d like to give the details straight so here it is, the LOOX R laptop is now powered with SSD drives and battery that can last more than 12 hours. These are the raw and yet amazing upgrades following a year long offing of powering the almost dreaded laptop.

It took Fujitsu 12 long months to finally make this laptop at par with the best based on reviews in the blogosphere. The laptop that runs with 1.2GHz processor is obviously not as impressive as its many counterparts. Now the laptop has 128GB SSD and is either running Windows Vista Business version or Windows XP Pro.

Fujisu LOOX R also boasts Bluetooth connectivity, 12.1 inch 1280 x 800 clear screens, bonus optical drives and of course the powerhouse battery that can last up to 12.6 hours.

The laptop is currently tagged at ¥230,000 or $2,500 and is initially available in Japan.
