FujiFilm expanded their A-series of cameras thru the introduction of A150 and A100. The two cameras are basic kit that is perfect for amateur camera handlers and photography starters.
Both of these cameras sport 10 megapixel les and have ISO 1600 sensitivity. The cameras also have 3x optical zooms with image stabilization, face detection and QVGA video recording. There is also a number of scene and shooting modes that should answer most of your shooting needs.
The difference between the two, aside from the price is their screen size. A100 measures 2.7 inches while A150 measures 3-inches.
The FujiFilm A150 also includes Picture Stabilisation technology that allows you to say goodbye to blurry, fuzzy images, and say hello to pin-sharp, crystal clear images at the touch of a button, says their press release. As indicated above the A150’s main feature includes a high quality Fujinon 3x zoom, with an added 5.7x digital zoom. That totals to 17.1x total range.
Another noteworthy fact about the new A-cameras, aside from stills, users can also create their own movies with sound. There is a 30 fps video clip making capability in the camera and you can store it in the 52MB internal memory.
These cameras need 2 AA batteries. Prices will be available soon.
