First there was the incident where Facebook changed its user agreement and tried to claim that it had all rights to user’s materials. Now once again Facebook has upset its users with a makeover. Luckily for Facebook they decided to comply with users and plan to make some changes.

The most changes to come will show up when users can place live updating and more filters for their friends list. The company claimed that change is always hard for people to get used and that they may miss some features that users wanted. However the change upset 2 million Facebook users. The users rallied together and joined various petition groups to campaign against the change.

The biggest problem that users had with the update was the change to the central dashboard. Facebook says that it will be focusing its improvements there for the next few weeks to come.

The handiest feature to come will be the live stream updating also known as auto refreshing. This is where users will no longer have to refresh the page to see new information it will just show up.

With all the changes to come, it should make Facebook wonder how many of the new changes that they plan to make will upset its users. There’s no way to make everyone happy and that’s why critics say it’s a bad move that Facebook is going to be making changes based on its unhappy users’ feedback. Although there were 2 million users that complained, in reality it’s only one percent of the users on Facebook.

On the other hand if Facebook doesn’t listen it risks losing many users. In fact last year Facebook only had 200,000 complaints. With the number of complaints skyrocketing Facebook should do something or they will end up with a bad reputation of not listening to their users’ concerns and if Facebook doesn’t start taking in those concerns more often they may lose a lot of users.
