Another Atom powered notebook is released to the market. The new Prime Note Cartina UM netbook sports an elegant design complemented a rather decent set of hardware.

The notebook is made by Dospara of Japan. It runs on 1.6ghz intel atom processor and has a decent 1024 x 600 pixel resolution. Its 120GB HDD is relatively huge for its size. The memory module is rated at 1GB.

Compared to other Atom powered notebooks, there is a more flexibility in terms of OS use here. One can either opt for Linux or Windows XP as its operating system.

There is also a 1.3 MP built in camera, 3-in-1 card reader and 802.11b/g WiFi.

While the notebook is exclusively available in Japan, it doesn’t mean that a few notebook enthusiast will not find a way to grab this notebook. For a price of 39,980 yen or $415US you can be a proud owner of this rare machine.
