If you want a cool and light PC then you should check out the CherryPal Cloud PC. It is simple with 256MB of DDR2 memory and a 4GB flash drive. It is powered with Freescale’s MPC5121e mobileGT processor that runs for 400MHz. Bundled with the PC is CherryPal’s 50GB Internet storage.

The Cloud PC has a record of a 20-second boot time. This PC has a reliable online administrator that regularly backs up the system to prevent data loss too. It is perfect for people who hate maintenance and all the geeky things to setup.

The PC, needless to say, offers nothing but the basics. The unit comes pre-installed with web-based software like iTunes and OpenOffice as well as an exclusive CherryPal-branded instant messenger and media client.

The relatively low specs come with power usage advantage. It runs at only 2 watts of power. The PC has a VGA video output that allows it to be connected easily with other devices. It has a pair of USB 2.0 ports and a 3.5mm headphone jack output for audio.

The CherryPal is currently available exclusively at CherryPal’s webstore. Retail will be available by the end of July. It will also be made available on Amazon by September. The PC comes cheaply at $249.
