Casio recently released the thinnest wide-angle camera to date.
The new Exilim Zoom EX-Z150 boasts a thickness of only 0.79 inches. But its slimness isn’t really what Exilim puts affront. The digital camera has a 28mm wide-angle lens that shoots with 8-megapixel resolution. It has 4X optical zoom that perfectly complements the wide-angle lens.
The camera is robust with 2.26 inches of height and 3.81 inches width.
This new Casio camera is also packed with other features like anti-shake, face detection and a clear 3-inch LCD display. It carries some unique modes too like the YouTube mode which allows users to record videos in format and resolution preferred by the largest video sharing website. This renders the video with the highest possible image and audio quality that is perfect for video sharing.
The camera also allows users to edit the date and time of a picture already taken. This is advantageous in users who frequently travel into different time zones. This allows them to go back and correct data inputted on a picture in case they forget to change camera date settings upon their arrival to a new time zone.
The camera will be available in Europe next month at a price of €200 or US$318. Camera enthusiasts in the U.S. can expect this product in September at $199.
