While the brand may stand for a wild and huge animal, its dongle is the total opposite of that. The new Buffalo 802.11n WiFi Dongle is small, fast and cheap!

Buffalo’s WLI-UC-GN 802.11b/g/n dongle tips the scale at a few ounces and measures 16 × 33 × 8-mm. If you don’t find ¥2,100 or about $24 cheap, then you better check the current exchange rate. It is direct to the point, clearly no unnecessary parts unlike other computer peripherals.

The new dongle supports both Buffalo’s proprietary AOSS and the Wi-Fi Alliance’s WPS that makes connecting to secure WiFi networks a breeze.

This adapter will be available in Japan starting next month. There is no word yet on the US and UK release but you can expect it to and different shores at least a month after.
