Bentley is a popular luxury car brand and while their decision to launch a technogear is a surprise to some, the price that they tagged it with is not.

Bentley retains its image as producer of exclusive products as only 250 pieces of this expensive laptop will be released. Dubbed as Ego for Bentley, this hand-built laptop boasts white gold frames and the very exclusive Bentley logo.

The laptop is covered with changeable high quality leather that has a car-like finish. The handles of the laptop also look like car door handles. While some say that the laptop looks like a lady’s bag, its features and specifications are very much that of an advanced piece of hardware.

The laptop sports changeable handmade leather. It has a fashionable two sliding doors that is used to conceal the connectors. It has 12 direct access keys.

Entertainment wise, the laptop provides an integrated stereo microphone, an integrated camera and bass reflex sound system.

It comes with an installed Microsoft Vista Ultimate and ft Office Small Business Edition 2007. The laptop is powered by Mobile AMD TurionTM 64 Mobile Technology and ATI Radeon XPRESS 200M chipset.

The 12.1-inche screen can display up to 16.7 million colours. It has 160GB SATA Hard disk drive and other numerous features. The only lowdown on this gadget perhaps is its short battery life, after 3 hours, you need to either plug or recharge it first before you can use it again.

The product also won the Microsoft’s Fashion PC Award.
