The website Gizmodo stated that the 3G iPhone will be available worldwide right upon Steve Jobs’ keynote at the WWDC on June 9. Of course this will vary geographically, depending on where you live. But Steve is expected to try out the phone right through his keynote.

Apple is currently following a new sales strategy to expand in new geographies and triple its market. Multiple carriers will now support iPhone. Vodafone has stated that it will bring the iPhone to countries like Australia, Greece, Egypt, Italy, India, Turkey, South Africa and many more countries. Vodafone will share iPhone with other carriers in those countries, which means Apple doesn’t follow anymore the exclusive-carrier strategy.

The new sales policy also includes flexible pricing with some vendors. There are expectations that there will be more discounts in places with multi-carriers supporting iPhone. The sales for the new 3G iPhone are expected to be the highest ever. A new survey among 3600 US consumers showed that one out of four iPhone potential buyers have delayed the purchase decision until Apple releases iPhone with 3G capabilities. ChangeWave predicts that the new Apple’s iPhone will capture more than 33% of smart phones’ sales within the next 3 months.
