ASUS launched the VK266H and VW266H widescreen LCD monitors that sports one of the highest resolution among standard LCD screens. The monitors can display 1920×1200. It also has a Full HD 1080p video playback thru an HDMI input. It also has a contrast ratio of 2000:1 and it carries ASUS’s signature Splendid Video Intelligence Technology.

ASUS’s signature Splendid Video Intelligence Technology uses a special color engine that intelligently interprets the video content and then adjusts image factors for best visual experience.

The LCD monitors has a rotatable 2.0 megapixel webcam with Smart EV (Exposure Value) that can be used for video conferencing and other video communications options.

The LCD can be set into different viewing modes including Theater, Game, Scenery, Night View and Standard and three skin tone selections Natural, Reddish and Yellowish. This makes viewing thru the VK266H and VW266H widescreen LCD an even more rewarding experience.

ASUS will also be launching VK246H and VW246H LCD monitors. These monitors sport the same technologies from what they’ve just released. A more advanced camera and some friendlier features make up then difference.
