Adobe is about to change how search engine optimization is done. The company recently released a new tool that will allow search engine users to find relative Flash video content in their searches.
Adobe Systems Inc., the maker of the Flash video format, has released a new version of its Flash player software that allows search engines, particularly Google, to see the content and the elements of web pages that have flash format contents. The software simply mimics how humans read and see these web pages.
Current search engine robots and crawlers are having difficulty in reading the contents of non-text based pages, particularly those containing flash videos.
Since a lot of new websites now rely on the aesthetics of flash based contents, this new tool is seen as a great advancement in web development and search engine optimization.
Adobe’s new tools help search robots navigate dynamic Flash pages more easily. For instance, Google robots will virtually be able click specific navigation buttons, and render that data as indexed.
Google is now currently using this new tool so don’t be surprised if there is a sudden change in Google search results. Yahoo, Inc. is now planning to implement the same software. Adobe is now focusing on aiding other search engines to incorporate the tool in their systems too.
