There have been several different releases of Windows 7 on various BitTorrent sites around the internet. Some users claim to have this beta version working while others claim it doesn’t. Microsoft comes closer to releasing Windows 7 RC to the public.

Microsoft has pointed towards May as a release date for the RC version on its website. Many users are in a rush to get a look at the Windows 7 RC however Microsoft says not to worry that there will be enough to go around. Back in January, Microsoft released a beta version to the public that had gotten so much traffic to their site that it caused their servers to overload. Rather than have a certain amount of keys and a certain amount of downloads to the public, like they attempted to do with the beta version, Microsoft will be releasing Windows 7 RC widely. The RC version that users download won’t expire until June 1, 2010. This will give users enough time to enjoy Windows 7 and to test it out before they commit to buying it.

While they are releasing Windows 7 RC on a widespread scale it will only launch in English, German, Japanese, French, and Spanish. However, you can get the system in both the 32 bit model and the 64 bit model. Microsoft, as always, has refused to put an exact date on the release of Windows 7 RC.

Microsoft may have not given us an official date however it can be expected around May. If you’re a savvy Windows user waiting to get a hold of Windows 7 RC then you won’t have to wait much longer.

Many people are excited to see what Windows 7 has to offer and how well it will do. Given the beta release and the statistics so far, it’s on track to be the best operating system to date.
