Acer’s announcement of the new 10-inch Aspire prompted curious minds to inquire about its details. Good thing the a few tech blogs got a hold of the unit and revealed what the netbook truly is all about.
The new Aspire Aspire One D150 will be available in France starting next month. The first unit is the D150-0B. Tagged at $425, the netbook sports a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor. It has a 1GB memory and a regular 160GB hard drive. Its screen is 10.1-inch and has 1024 x 600 resolution. Its 3-cell battery is common to most netbooks.
If this netbook is too low-end for you, then you can wait until March because that is when Acer will release the D150-1B. It is a more advanced version of D150-0B. The main difference includes the 6-cell battery that can power your netbook up to 7 hours. It will be tagged at $450, $25 more expensive than the first unit.
Following this unit is the D150-2BG and it has an Intel Atom 1.66GHz N280 processor and an integrated 3G quadband and UMTS/HSDPA mobile broadband. It also uses a 6-cell battery and will out in March. You can get it, once it becomes available in US for $575.
