Here’s sad news for Apple fanatics. The big company decide to scrap its 23-inch Cinema Display.
Apple’s official online store now showcases the LCD Cinema Display with a “Discontinued” status. While this is not a good news, the decision was not a surprise to many. Speculations about the project already arose after Apple revealed its 24-inch LED.
The 24-inch LED was originally announced on the same date as the new MacBook and MacBook Pro notebooks in last month. This viewing machine is far better than the discontinued project. It has a 1,920-by-1,200-pixel resolution, a built-in iSight camera and microphone, modern stereo speakers, and three-port USB 2.0 hub. Its casing is made of alunimun and glass.
The new LED’s market is the same as those of Apple’s new notebooks. There is an integrated MagSafe in this monitor so your notebooks will not have a problem getting enough power. Mac users can also attach their notebooks to its monitor thru the Mini DisplayPort.
The 24-inch LED will be officially available this November.
