Super Talent Technology or STT recently introduced one of the smallest, highest capacity and most durable thumbdrives. This is the Pico D, the latest thumbdrive to come from one of the world’s leader in flash and DRAM memory manufacturing.
Pico D measures 1.4 inches in length and it weighs less than 0.2 ounces. Despite its small size, it’s shock and water resistant.
Pico D has a storage capacity of up to 8GB. The device can accommodate a bandwidth of up to 30 megabytes per second.
Pico D’s small size was achieved thru the use of STT’s chip-on-board technology that does not use ICs in its wire packaging. The technology is the same in Cosair Flash Voyager Mini. But compared to the Cosair Flash Voyager Mini, Pico D boasts twice its capacity.
Pico D is tagged at $40. It is backed with a lifetime warranty from STT.
