The Hewlett-Packard ToucSmart IQ506 is HP’s way of telling the world that it has the capability to bring a stylist desktop PC in the world.
This is an all-in-one desktop PC. Its 22-inch screen has a resolution display of 1650 by 1080. True to its name, all the not so eye appealing parts were stuffed into the screen’s interiors. Yes, all the other PC paraphernalia’s right behind the screen.
Perhaps following the fad of the touch screen technology, HP TouchSmart obviously has a touch screen. With an appearance like that of a classy HD TV, this is perhaps the only PC that fits your living room setting.
TouchSmart IQ506 uses Windows Vista’s to power its system and gives you a different personal computing experience. Opening of documents, zipping of files, manipulation of images – all these and more can be done at a movement of your fingers. It works pretty much the same as iPhone and MacAir’s touchpad. The concept and movements are all the same: finger pinching, screen scan and others.
This PC comes with a 2.16-GHz Core 2 Duo T5850 Intel CPU, 4GB RAM, and a 500GB, 7200-rpm hard drive. There is a USB 2.0 port, FireWire port, gigabit ethernet, a slot-loading DVD player, an S-Video input, and 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth built in.
This elegant PC is tagged at $1500.
